Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 12, 2026

1. Introduction

Anchorr (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Anchorr CRM platform at anchorr.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our services, including our integration with Google APIs.

By using Anchorr, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and password. This information is required to provide our CRM services.

2.2 CRM Data

You may store contacts, companies, deals, activities, invoices, support tickets, and other business data within Anchorr. This data belongs to you and your organization.

2.3 Google User Data

If you connect your Google account, we access the following data with your explicit consent:

  • Gmail messages: We read email metadata (sender, recipient, subject, date) and email body content to sync your email conversations into Anchorr and match them to your CRM contacts.
  • Gmail send: When you send emails through Anchorr (including sequence emails), we use the Gmail API to send from your email address.
  • Gmail labels and read status: We read and may modify email labels and read/unread status to keep your inbox in sync.
  • Google Calendar events: We read your calendar events (title, description, time, attendees, location) to display them alongside CRM contact records. We may also create calendar events for scheduled meetings.
  • Email address: We read your Google email address to identify your account.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Anchorr CRM platform
  • Sync your email and calendar data with your CRM records
  • Send emails on your behalf through your connected email account
  • Execute automated email sequences you configure
  • Track email engagement (open rates) through a tracking pixel embedded in outgoing emails
  • Generate AI-powered features such as contact summaries, email drafts, and data enrichment
  • Provide customer support and respond to your requests

4. Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure

Anchorr's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

  • We only use Google user data to provide and improve the CRM features you have explicitly enabled (email sync, email sending, calendar sync).
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes.
  • We do not sell Google user data to third parties.
  • We do not use Google user data to build user profiles for advertising or marketing to unrelated products.
  • Human access to Google user data is limited to what is necessary for security, legal compliance, or to provide support at your request.

5. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We share limited data with the following third-party services to provide Anchorr's features:

  • Anthropic (Claude AI): Contact names, titles, company information, deal details, and activity summaries may be sent to Anthropic's API to generate AI-powered contact briefings and email drafts. When AI reply classification is enabled, the body of inbound replies to your sequence emails (truncated to the first 2,000 characters) is also sent to Anthropic so the agent can categorise the reply (interested / not interested / out of office / unsubscribe / etc.) and draft a suggested follow-up. No data sent to Anthropic is retained for model training under our Anthropic enterprise terms.
  • Apollo.io: If you enable data enrichment, email addresses and company domains are sent to Apollo.io to retrieve publicly available business information. No CRM data or email content is shared.
  • Resend: If you have not connected a Gmail or Outlook account, transactional and sequence emails are sent through Resend's email delivery service.
  • Supabase: Our database and authentication infrastructure is hosted on Supabase. All CRM data is stored in Supabase's cloud infrastructure.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or Google user data with any other third parties.

6. Data Storage and Security

  • All data is stored in Supabase cloud infrastructure with row-level security policies ensuring data isolation between organizations.
  • Google OAuth tokens (access and refresh tokens) are stored securely in our database and are only used to maintain your Google account connection.
  • All data transmission uses TLS/HTTPS encryption.
  • Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Synced email and calendar data is retained to provide the CRM email integration features.

You may:

  • Disconnect your Google account at any time from Settings → Integrations. This revokes our access to your Gmail and Calendar data.
  • Delete your account by contacting us at [email protected]. We will delete all your data, including synced emails and calendar events, within 30 days.
  • Clear demo data from your dashboard if sample data was seeded during onboarding.

When you disconnect your Google account or delete your Anchorr account, we delete all stored Google user data (synced emails, calendar events, and OAuth tokens).

8. Email Tracking

When you send emails through Anchorr (including automated sequence emails), we embed a small tracking pixel to detect when recipients open your emails. This data is used solely to provide email engagement analytics within your CRM and is not shared with any third party.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Revoke consent for Google API access at any time

To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

10. Cookies

Anchorr uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The email tracking pixel is not a cookie and does not track browsing behavior.

11. Children's Privacy

Anchorr is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
